The CLYDESDALE MUSIC AND ART STUDIO
About
The Clydesdale Music and Art Studio has been in existence since 2012 starting in Colorado Springs and moving to Pueblo the same year after being asked to become the Cello Instructor at CSU-Pueblo, as well as teaching String Technique classes. At the same time, I opened my private music studio in Pueblo teaching beginning violin and viola, and all levels of cello.
The Magical Music and Art Workshops were developed in 2018 when I was able to find a large studio on Northern Ave. in Pueblo. The Prometheus Trio was also founded in 2012 with my colleagues, Dr. Zahari Metchkov, piano and Dr. Timothy Hsu, violin, from the University. We performed many concerts in southern Colorado as well as in Colorado Springs and Denver throughout the years until 2021.

Mission

My mission is very simple and at the same time ambitious: primarily to develop talent and to create the personal awareness of potential in my students in the study of their chosen string instrument in this highly developed age of technology! Learning to play a string instrument requires much patience, pratice and the ability to maintain one's focus on a particular objective.

Vision for the Future

What could be more important in this highly
technological age, then teaching our children that is possible for them to learn to play an instrument
(and in our case, a string instrument) with their own hands? To be able to hear the sound of a note and reproduce this exact sound with the objective of eventually performing a piece of music in its entirety
for his or her own pleasure and the pleasure of those listening to it? Not to mention, the pleasure of being able to play with other students and realize what working as a team really means, which applies to all our lives present and future in many different domains!
Being part of the whole with the intention of reaching out to many who will be uplifted and encouraged in their daily lives through music, some with no previous connection or training of their own on any instrument.
